We offer three standard courses that can be used in any of our formats to jump start your organization.  These course are designed to provide your project management and planning staffs with the knowledge needed to develop the appropriate plans and then successfully manage the projects derived from those plans. Even if your staff has the skills, these course will serve to sharpen their focus on the task at hand and provide them invaluable insight into the processes to be used.  The courses include:

• Strategic planning. Your staff will learn the elements of a strategic plan and how to go about the data gathering required to build one.  We’ll provide tools and techniques needed to put your plan together in a minimal amount of time.  Optionally, up to 40 hours of consulting time can be added to the package at reduced rates to help the staff throughout the process.  This is a three day course.

• Large project management. While there is overlap in the content of our project management courses, this course is primarily focused on helping your project management staff understand the in and outs of ensuring on-time and on-budget project completion.  Because of the dramatic impact even small changes can have on schedule and budget, there is primary emphasis on change control and change management.  Actual experiences are brought into the training environment and the students are encouraged to think outside the box in developing answers to maintain project costs and timelines. This is typically a four day course and designed for projects planned to take more than 6 months.

• Small project management. Containing the same basic project management elements as the large project course, this course emphasizes how to get the best deliverable content from the project staff whether they be organic or third party. Emphasis is placed on deliverable definition, project status reporting, and the matching of deliverables to the actual project requirements.  This is typically a 2 day course and designed for projects expected to 6 months or less in duration.
